Hello, my name is Justin Liebrecht. I am a freshman biology major here at the University of Dayton. There is not really that much interesting about my life up until the point that I had arrived here at Dayton. I come from a very flat part of Ohio, since I am from the northwest region of the state. The town I come from provides little to do in the form of activities. Most of what I had done at home was hang out with friends, watch YouTube and Netflix, and exercised.
I am currently vegan to reduce my carbon footprint. Climate change is a big reason why I identify with the liberal/progressive political party. As a progressive, I firmly support Bernie Sanders for the 2020 presidential election. His Medicare-For-All plan is appealing to me because I view myself also as I humanitarian, that is every person should have the right to decent, comfortable, and livable conditions of life.
Moving right on to my collegiate experience, I am currently, as of writing this blog, in my second semester of my freshmen year. I have a decent friend group despite being an introvert. This consists of my friends Josh, C, David, and Anne. I am also friends with others such as Isabel, Michael, Shannon, John, and Izzy, among others. I have had decent academic success so far in college.
I watch a decent amount of Netflix and Disney+. In fact, recently I had watched the animated version of The Jungle Book. I love that movie and all Disney media. I am also a huge fan of The 100, Greys Anatomy, Supergirl, and any Star Trek series. I like other superhero series on the CW, but Supergirl is far and away the best. My favorite Star Trek series is Deep Space Nine.
