This post is dedicated to one of my closest friends, Nate [middle name] Musser. He is a good guy and an even better friend. I actually started getting to know him only this semester, because he is always up at Stuart Complex. (He actually lives in Marycrest Complex, but comes up to Stuart Complex because we have the better building).

I became good friends with Nate when I was hanging out with my other friend, Christian, this semester. Christian knows a lot of people, and so naturally, the more that I hung out with him, the more people I got to know. Once Founders Josh and myself got to reconnecting on the Leader Retreat for the Road Less Traveled Retreat, he added me to the Snapchat group chat Stuart Lobby Gang (SLG). Therefore, Nate and I interacted more, as he was also part of the group.
That night that Founders Josh added me to SLG, Nate, Christian, Founders, myself, as well as others all played the Mafia-themed game, Werewolf. We all had fun that night in that accusatory game. Eventually, this all led up to me adding Nate to our game night group chat on Snapchat. He, then, renamed the group chat BG for Losers, Geeks, Kelp Soda: so ridiculous.
Speaking of ridiculousness, Nate made up the word ‘crunge’, a meta version of the slang word ‘cringe’. This culminated in me making up the list: The Levels of Cringe. The list has all the classics such as cringe and crunge, but also newer words such as creange, crenge, crange, cryange and the highest level, crynge, or as Nate says ” cringe with a [letter] y.
Nate is such a good friend that David, Hot Josh and myself had decide that we wanted him to be our fourth roommate after it was looking as if Christian was not going to be on campus next semester. He helped us conclude that it was best to get into VWK; he also helped us get enough path points to actually live there.
In conclusion, Nate was a fantastic addition to my friend group and I value his friendship every single day. You, yes, you Nate, are valuable to all of us.
I agree that Stuart is the best of all the freshman dorms to live in! It is great that you were able to find your crowd on campus and become such good friends with someone. I wish I was able to have the relationship with someone that you have with Nate.
